First edition. 8vo. Senate Executive Document No. 127, 49th Congress, 1st Session, April 19, 1886. Hardcover binder, titles stamped in gold gilt on the front cover, 6 pp., maps. An interesting discussion of a Spanish Land Grant in the area of Santa Fe. To solve the total issue at hand required the services of Major C. G. Coleman, Jr., a very competent and trustworthy surveyor, George W. Julian, U. S. Surveyor-General for New Mexico, and the help of several citizens familiar with the involved area. Eventually the original small tract of 130.93 acres was recommended for confirmation by the Surveyor-General of New Mexico. The two maps show the Savlador Gonzales Grant in Santa Fe County, New Mexico. An interesting report in fine condition.
