John Bunting's is obsessed with avenging the death of his fiancee Ann Jackson who was killed by a stray bullet during a robbery. Bunting, a young electrical engineer, discovers that Saltenberg, a local racketeer, ordered the robbery, and Tarpin led the gang. John learns that Tarpin is operating a pinball machine racket in Manitoba, Florida. Bunning gets a job working for Tarpin, assembling pinball machines and begins to plot his payback.
