Culbertson served as an Indian Scout and guide in the early days for the United States Troops from 1876 until 1895. He was the son of Alexander Culbertson, one of the oldest Indian traders on the Missouri River, who was general manager of the American Fur Company. An interesting account by an authentic Montana Sioux Indian. Lightly rubbed with minimal edge wear. Near fine condition. Quite Scarce!
