An interesting biography, Waters trapped the Rocky Mountains in the 1830's and 1840's then went to California where he settled until his death in 1889. Waters trapped with such famous contemporaries as Kit Carson, Jim Bridger, Bill Williams, Dick Wootton, Thomas Fitzpatrick, and the Sublettes. Very good-near fine copy.
