This booklet promotes travel and touring between the islands of the Territory of Hawaii on a year-around basis. Travel is promoted to the world renowned Volcano of Kilauea and to do so three trips are provided, the short scenic route, the popular route, and the eight day trip. Travel is also provided to the Island of Maui where four different trips are available; the Island of Kauai where a four and a five day trip are available; and the Molokai and Lanai trip. Full panel deck plans for the S. S. Mauna Kea, S. S. Mauna Loa, STR. Claudine, and STR. Kinau are provided. A four panel center section provides a panoramic view of the active burning Lake of Lava, known as Halemaumau ("The House of Everlasting Fire"). Crater dimensions are provided. A two panel map of the Hawaiian Islands showing steamship routes of the Inter-Island Steam Navigation Co., Limited is provided with an explanation of the routes and destinations. The Volcano House Hotel is reviewed along with the Volcano Kilauea, the new automobile road to the volcano, the fern forest, the six craters, etc. The photographs throughout the booklet are most interesting. Light wear to top edge of outside spine panel, covers lightly rubbed, and light wear to a few page edges, else a very good copy.
