Eberstadt 105: 34 says "Contains an account of the Overland Expedition of the Gregg Party in 1849, the suffering and terrible privations endured, and the death by starvation of Dr. Josiah Gregg; the Redding Expedition and events of the Klamath War, the War with the Win-Toons, the Two Years War, etc." Previous owner's name stamped on front endpaper. Front board has been discretely, professionally reinforced at fore-edge of spine. Modest soiling and scuffing to leather. Very good. Protected in custom slipcase.
