Publication: Corral Dust, 1962, Arlington

First edition. Quarto. Vol. VII, No. 5, October, 1962 issue of Corral Dust by the Potomac Corral of the Westerners. Printed wrappers, 8 pp., illustrated. An interesting report of a dispute in 1866 - 67 Montana over the ownership of mining ground at Cave Gulch. Cave Gulch is about 20 miles northeast of Helena, the county seat, where the trial was held. Also contains an article entitled, "Sketched in the Arena" by William Gardner Bell that discusses the fact that over many years, various top western artists drew the artwork for the Madison Square Garden rodeo programs ... a rodeo that came to town every month during the month of October. In addition is an article by Neil W. Kimball entitled, "A Dozen Claimants - Colorado Got It;" an article about how "No-Man's Land" eventually was determined to be a part of the United States and the State of Colorado. Fine.
