Betzinez was a member of Geronimo's Band. He tells of conditions on the reservation before the breakout of 1882 and relates much detail about life on the warpath with Geronimo, including their surrender to General Crook, and again later to General Miles. Near fine copy in dust jacket with 1" closed tear at bottom edge of front panel and very slight wear to spine ends. This copy is inscribed and signed by Betzinez!: "Hoping you will enjoy reading the story of my life. Complement of Jason Betzinez 1959". At 99 years of age in 1959, we expect that copies signed by Betzinez are rare and desirable.
