Kingsbury Volumes III, IV, and V are edited by George Martin Smith. Volumes I and II provide the history of Dakota Territory, Volume III provides the history of the development of South Dakota, and Volumes IV and V provide biograpical sketches and portraits of early settlers and prominent citizens. Herd 1279 says "Scarce." "Vol. II contains a section on Roosevelt as a cattleman; Volume III has a chapter on livestock." A very attractive and presentable set.
