Laid-in is a Gold Medal official award ribbon for first place at the Panama Pacific International Exposition in San Francisco in 1915. Numerous testimonial letters attesting to the quality and efficient productivity of the Baltimore Broom Sewing Machine. In the center of the booklet is a two-page spread showing the sewing department in a broom factory of the Pennsylvania Working Home for the blind men showing six totally blind men operating six Baltimore stitchers. Laid-in is a copy from the New York Association for the Blind whereby they are ordering three additional sewing machines. An old water stain to top edge of front corner and gradually disappears about page 19, front and rear covers moderately soiled,else a very good internally clean copy.
