A barn and windmill are also visible in the background. Two panels offer information about the Hayes Double Acting Force Pumps and two panels offer illustrations of the pumps along with "Five Reasons Why the Hayes Pump is the Best." As their name implies, the Hayes Pump & Planter Company the Hayes Pump and Planter Company. They, as their name implies, made pumps and planters, but they also produced cultivators, and harrows. At one time this company was one of Galva's largest, and employed two hundred fifty men, and they had over 3000 distributors and dealers in several parts of the United States. Light soiling, 1" closed tear at bottom of one fold and 1" closed tear at bottom of another fold, but it has been neatly repaired with tape as well as a tiny chip to bottom edge. Very good.
