Topics covered include land forms, stratigraphy, early tertiary mammals, geology of intrusive igneous rocks, structural geology, etc. The second volume contains the eleven issued maps that are neatly boxed in a separate carton. Both volumes are housed in the originally issued slipcase with a paper label on the spine and titles printed in black, Volumes lightly sunned on the spine else a fine virtually unused set. Scarce.
