Arriving in El Paso in 1858, the author has recorded an informal history of the daily events and politics in this violent frontier town. Appendix I gives biographical sketches of the important residents of El Paso who appear in the author's account. Fine, bright copy in price-clipped dust jacket, with a small water stain to the inside upper edge of rear panel, not affecting the book nor visible from the outside, and light wear to head of spine.
