"Cheyenne Once Was Labeled Wickedest City In America" published Sept. 20, 1933 in the Cheyenne Tribune.

Two articles tell us of an observance on December 10 throughout the state of Wyoming holds a vivid reminder of the Territorial Legislative Act granting equal suffrage to women. R. S. Van Tassell, one of the oldest of Wyoming Pioneers succumbs to pneumonia in Pasadena, California. Additionally the Van Tassell ranch holdings were among the most extensive in Wyoming. The article on Cheyenne being the wickedest city was done by a writer who visited there in 1878 and promptly wrote to home town paper declaring this is a "Hell of a town." The articles provide us with an interesting look in the past. Very good condition.
