They have received over one hundred first premiums, prizes and diplomas, five silver, two bronze and two gold medals." "The Eclipse was awarded the first prize at the United States Centennial Exposition, held in Philadelphia, PA., in 1876. The ECLIPSE was the only windmill unharmed at the exposition grounds in the windstorms of June 27th and September 17th, 1876. Six competing windmills were either blown entirely away or wrecked upon their own towers." "The Eclipse windmills were awarded the first prize at the International Exposition at Paris, France, in 1879, nineteen other windmills being entered in competition. The Eclipse windmills were awarded the GRAND PRIZE and the highest award at the Louisiana Purchase Exposition held at St. Louis in 1904."
