"The Eclipse was awarded the first prize at the United States Centennial Exposition, held in Philadelphia, PA., in 1876. The ECLIPSE was the only windmill unharmed at the exposition grounds in the windstorms of June 27th and September 17th, 1876. Six competing windmills were either blown entirely away or wrecked upon their own towers."
