The Panama Limited was a passenger train operated by the Illinois Central Railroad between Chicago, Illinois and New Orleans, Louisiana. It operated from 1911 to 1971. The Panama Limited maintained a high level of service until the Amtrak era. It was noted for its dining car service, with a first rate culinary staff. Offers an A La Carte Menu and a Table D'Hote Menu. Between the two menus is a listing of wines and after dinner liqueurs as well as an offering of a De Luxe Appetizer. Light soiling and wear to the extremities. Very good.
