Text bound into wooden covers with copper hinges, the words "Dim Trails" burned into the front wooden cover, bound together with leather straps, [4], 35 pp. (printed one side), foreword, illustrated. Twelve poems, six by Holding and six by Kirkpatrick. Kirkpatrick was a Texas rancher and oilman, born in San Saba, Texas, in 1881. Holding was also born in San Saba, Texas, and was the author of more than 200 short stories and 136 western historical articles. Light wear to the fore-edge of the front wooden cover, and text is fine. A unique item.
