Six Score 29 says, "Dayton had more experience with sheep than cattle, but he saw a good deal of both. A well educated Easterner, he gives an interesting perspective on life in Dakotas during the hard years of the 1890s. Fine, bright, unread copy housed in a quarter leather and cloth slipcase with raised bands and titles stamped in gilt on the spine. An exceptional copy of a rare book.
