9" x 8" colorful pictorial wrapper done by Maurice Logan, a California artist who helped form the Society of Six which was a group of California artists who painted outdoors, socialized, and exhibited together in and around Oakland, California in the 1910s and 1920s. 16pp. including wrappers, folded in half. Photographs. Double column text. Black and white inset map shows Crater Lake National Park and its location between Portland and California on the Shasta Route, Southern Pacific. On the west side of the Park runs the Siskiyou Line and on the east side of the Park runs the Cascade Line. Describes the history of Crater Lake, how it was formed, it's very blue waters, forests, ability to use your automobile to see the beautiful sites, et. al. Crater Lake also has an attractive hotel and a cozy camp in the Park. Both are described to include sleeping conditions, rates, activities, et. al. A small inset map shows four distinct approaches to points on the Pacific Coast provided by Southern Pacific. The lines are the Shasta Route, Overland Route, Golden State Route and Sunset Route along with Southern Pacific's own line of steamships from New York to New Orleans. Full page of Southern Pacific Representatives and Foreign Agencies. Light wear to the extremities along with light wear to spine and center fold. Very good. A nicely produced and informative item.
