A splendid book for both the cattle and range man and the big game hunter. Much on ranching in Montana and Wyoming and the hunting of elk, bighorn sheep, mountain lions and grizzly bears in the same areas. Has a chapter on mountain man, Bill Williams. Dobie says "Superb!" A straight and sound copy of this classic account of range life in early 20th Century Montana and Wyoming. Former owner's name stamp at top of front free fly leaf, very minor wear to covers, else a very good plus copy of a Merrill Aristocrat. The author (Mackay 1881-1932), was the son of the President of the New York Stock Exchange, came to Montana in 1901. An attractive copy.
