7 1/4" x 14 1/2" sheet folded to 8 panels. Colorful cover panel showing an illustration of a lifeguard standing watch as people swim and a boat is rowed by a young couple. Remaining seven panels offer information on Tent City, bathing, dancing, transportation facilities, boating, fishing, golf, etc. along with information of accommodations, apparel for the beach, and pricing for tents and cottages. Tent City started operating in 1900 next to the Hotel del Coronado where people would come and spend the summer camping on the beach next to the hotel. As time went by it literally became a city into itself with various attractions. Tent only $1 a day; with cooking $1.75 and with kitchen and cooking $2.50. Light wear to edges and folds. Very good. Rare.
