Offers an overview of Coos County with information about its favorable location, climate, advice to settlers, timber resources, lumber mills, ship building, coal, shipping and commerce, dairying, agriculture, poultry, livestock, farming, fishing as an industry, education, railroad prospects, good roads, its seaport and industries to include harbor work and dredging the bay, its cities to include Marshfield, North Bend, and Empire City, Coquille Valley and its agriculture and cites to include Myrtle Point, Bandon-by-the-Sea, etc. Photographs throughout include pictures of water scenes, Coquille Valley scenes, various mills, hunting and fishing scenes, homes and important buildings, etc. Small chip missing to top of spine along with 1" closed split to toe of spine and with light soiling to wrappers.
