The first comprehensive history of the San Luis Southern Railway which was originally built in 1909. It was 31 miles in length and had several changes of names before becoming the San Luis Valley Southern. Despite the corporate changes the line was familiarly known as "The Taos Route." Interestingly, the line only had four locomotives and twenty cars. Included are over 250 photographs, maps, a bibliography and index. Fine unread copy in dust jacket with minor wear to spine ends and corners and two tiny closed tears to the bottom edge of the front cover.
