On the front side is printed the address of the Chicago Live Stock Commission which is at the Union Stock Yards with offices at 39 & 41 Exchange Bldg., Chicago, The President is William M. Warren, a banker from New Berlin, Illinois, with Chas. Kelly, Secretary & Treasurer, and T. P. Lee and Thos. Kelly as Managers. References are provided using the National Live Stock Bank and the Drover's Nat'l Bank, both of Chicago, with E. M. Husted, President of the Bank of Roodhouse, Roodhouse, Illinois and the Bank of Atlantic, Iowa. Also there is a pictorial of a cowboy on horseback chasing two steers and trying to lasso them and single pictures of a hog, sheep, and a steer. On the reverse side is provided information for the largest receipts for stock in a day, largest receipts of stock in one week, largest receipts of stock in one year, and a valuation of stock for 24 years dating from 1866 through 1889.
