First edition. 6" x 8 3/4" oblong, string-tied, pictorial wrappers, n. p. (72 pp.), illustrated, folding map at the rear, advertisements. "Cheboygan" is an Indian word that means "through route." Booklet provides information about Cheboygan including its climate, quality of life, businesses, farms and farming, public and parochial schools, recreational activities, summer resorts, winter activities, fishing, etc. The foldout map is titled "The Resort Region of Northern Michigan" and features the towns of Cheboygan and Petoskey plus portions of Lake Michigan and Lake Huron. The map has two small closed tears at the extremities, else a very good copy. Covers are lightly soiled, light wear to the spine ends and corners. A small closed tear to top edge of rear cover has been reinforced with cellophane tape, else interior clean and tight for an overall very good copy.
