8 1/2" x 11 1/2" broadside printed in black on yellow paper. Frank Dart, who had recently left the Campbell Commission Company to join Rice Bros. & Nixon as a commission salesman to sell livestock. The broadside describes the integrity of his new employer along with the level of zeal that he and other Rice Bros. & Nixon agents will provide to ensure their customers are represented in the finest manner to achieve the best money for their livestock ... "The 2 hog salesmen are recognized champions in their respective divisions. Each having fine reputations for honesty and fair dealing and trading in every little particular. The 3 cattle salesmen are the greatest hustlers ever in the trade and take special delight in helping each other in every possible way in order to see how high they can sell their cattle, and rest assured that when they get through working on a bunch of cattle and sell them they do not need selling over again. The sheep salesman is an expert having been in the business all his life. My friend, McRae Cave, who has sold hogs for 15 years and a champion in his line and having hosts of warm friends in the trade, and who has given better satisfaction to shippers than any hog salesman I have ever been associated with, joins me in making this change and if you favor us he will continue to sell your hogs as usual but with renewed spirit and courage ..." The broadside goes on to state, "Every man connected with Rice Bros. & Nixon is right in the prime of life and full of energy and we shall work with renewed vigor to see how well we can do for our friends in the trade and if we have your patronage hope to do so well by you that we will merit your recommending us to your friends, for we shall never leave a single stone unturned in our efforts to make you money and please you in every little particular."
