Publication: Privately printed for C W Tait, 1867, Columbus, Texas

Broadside: 34 x 30 cm. [13 1/2" x 11 3/4"] headline titled broadside followed by a paragraph of descriptive text regarding the stolen horse. Tait reports that on the night of January 10th, 1867, a stallion was stolen from his lot in the town of Columbus, Texas. The horse is described thoroughly and a reward of $100.00 will be given for the return of the horse uninjured, and $200.00 with proof to convict the thief. A nice example of a Texas "stolen horse" broadside. A few small chips and nicks to the extremities, else a very good copy that is suitable for framing.
