In addition to homesteading opportunities, information is provided regarding schools, types of crops grown, soil survey information, availability of county agricultural agents, marketing facilities, mail service, telephone service, the financial standing of the county, hunting and fishing, etc. A railroad commissioners' map of North Dakota shows the numerous railway lines radiating through the north central part of the state, and a map of Bottineau County is also provided.
