Foreword by Lori Van Pelt. This is the outlandish true crime story of Big Nose George Parott. In 1878 near Como Bluff, Wyoming Territory, an outlaw gang attempted to derail and rob a passenger train. Their plan was discovered and they fled the area. In the aftermath, two local lawmen were murdered. Big Nose George Parott and one other member of the gang were lynched separately by by vigilante mobs. The details that led to Big Nose's death and the bizarre and grotesque series of events that transpired after his lynching, pushed his story from one of a murdering outlaw to one which still astonishes readers today.
