8vo. 9" x 8" color pictorial sheet, doubled to 9" x 4," 12 pp. (including covers), illustrated, maps. Maps include a color map of the Apache Trail Highway, and a small map of the Southen Pacific Railway route. The Apache Trail Highway travels between Phoenix and Globe, Arizona. Scenes include the Lower Tonto Cliff Dwellings near Apache Lodge, Fish Creek Canyon, Roosevelt Dam, Canyon Lake, Apache encampment on the shore of Roosevelt Lake, etc. Globe, Arizona is located in the center of Apache country, and pictured there are Charlie Nackee, a veteran Apache scout, who helped American soldiers tame his renegade brothers, also pictured are Apache women with their children, an Apache medicine man, etc. Lightly rubbed at cover folds, else a very good copy.
