A fine copy in near fine dust jacket (some fading to the pink printing on spine). Basis for the 1944 film "Gas-Light" starring Ingrid Bergman, Charles Boyer and Joseph Cotton. With the inked ownership signature on front pastedown (fully covered by the front flap fold) of noted Hollywood producer Jerry Wald (Dark Passage, Mildred Pierce). Scarce.
