Alfred Giles (1853-1920) the early architect for many of San Antonio's finest public buildings including Fort Sam Houston and private homes as well as some of the state's county court houses. He was known for his use of the native limestone which is so appealing. He also was an architect for many of Northern Mexico's cities. A fine copy and a beautiful book that is scarce today.
