The author describes an encounter with a sheep herder and his fear of attack by cattlemen, encounters with cattle thieves, a jail break and their subsequent arrest. He went as far south as San Antonio and describes a visit to the Alamo. Entire spine panel professionally reinforced with cloth, rear cover professionally and tastefully reinforced, a few pages lightly foxed, else a very good copy of a scarce item.
