Laid-in is a letter from The Cattleman Magazine to Maxwell stating that "the leather bound edition is limited to 50 books." This book is not only the history of the Association but it is also the story of the entire cattle industry in Texas and the Southwest. There is much information on prominent cattlemen as well a s drought, rustling, market breaks, and government meddling. The best book to date on this important organization.
