5" x 7" photograph of J. Evetts Haley. Lightly inscribed in ink to Ray Walton, long-time Texas Western Americana bookseller (died 2006). Haley inscribed this photograph for Ray Walton from Haley's personal collection. On the back of the photograph is a label of THE CATTLEMAN magazine in Fort Worth, Texas with the name "Bugbee # 1" inked in as the identity cut. This photograph was used for an article on Harold D. Bugbee, that appeared in the January, 1975 issue of The Cattleman. At the bottom of the label are Haley's notes and the words, "January 1975. P. 50, Portrait, J. Evetts Haley," all in Haley's hand.
