7 1/4" x 11 1/4" in blue covers, string-tied at spine, containing 89 black & white, sepia and hand-colored images, attached with corners (not glued down). Photographs measure between 3" x 4 1/2" to 5 1/2" x 7." Group of photos compiled by a Civilian Conservation Corps employee, working in Northern Wisconsin with a photo of the Dunbar, Wisconsin post office. Many striking photos of wintertime labor, snowshoeing, bulldozers, logging, barracks, scenery, plus images of camaraderie of camp life. Wonderful animal life is depicted. Several photos are beautifully hand-tinted. Two photographs missing and with one page having a 5 1/2" x 1 1/2" piece missing from edge, not affecting photographs.
